I was inspired to name my blog "More Precious than Gold" by the verse in 1 Peter. It says, "These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold-- though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world" (1 Peter 1:7 NLT).
We have many trials in this life. But God is with us through it all. We are tested, but God uses those difficult times to refine and purify us like gold.
Our faith in God is something to be proud of. It is something that we should not hide. It is something that is very precious to God. He loves when his children seek Him.
But when we are able to stand firm and get through these trials, we are bringing glory, praise, and honor to the name of Jesus.
I am excited to see what the Lord has in store for this blog!
