Hello Beautiful People!
I am so sorry I haven’t written a blog
post in a while! I’ve been busy with final exams and a new business
adventure! That is actually what I
wanted to share with you today! I am so
happy to announce that I have become a
Younique makeup presenter!
For those of you that haven’t heard of Younique, it’s a
company that sells naturally based makeup and skin care products. I
absolutely LOVE the products and I’m so passionate about sharing them with
other ladies!
Back in September, my dear friend Jenn hosted an online
Younique party on Facebook and added me to the group. I had seen some things about Younique before,
but this was the first time I had really paid attention to the products. I did not end up purchasing anything, but
this definitely introduced me to all that Younique had to offer.
Shortly after that, I started following a presenter, Allie
Boss, on Facebook and became a part of her VIP group. I started learning more and more about the
products through watching her videos and reading her posts. At the end of December, I decided to try it
out and order some products! I fell in LOVE!
Then I decided to host a party. I
earned free makeup through that and fell in LOVE with that makeup too!
After that I decided to really
start praying about becoming a Younique
presenter. I fell in love with the
products the company sells. I had also
seen so many success stories. I prayed
about this for quite a while. And the Lord showed me very clearly that I needed to take this
leap of faith and go for it. I purchased the presenter kit on April 15th
and became a Presenter. I knew that even
if I didn’t sell anything, I was still getting an amazing deal on the best
makeup EVER and a 20% discount, so there was nothing to lose!
I knew that if I became a presenter, I was going to give
it my all. I completely believe in this
truth found in the Bible: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for
the Lord” Colossians 3:23
I don’t know about you all, but this verse makes me
picture God himself being my boss. And
the truth is, He is! He created you and He planned every single detail of your
life. He gave His son to live on this
Earth to represent true, unconditional love for us and then die on the cross to
save us from our sins. Think about that…
God sent His son to die, to give us life.
Because God has gifted me with this precious life, I want
to use it to bring honor and glory to His name in every aspect of my life. Even my work.
The Bible tells us, “Commit your plans to the Lord and your plans will succeed” Proverbs
16:3
I am working at this business with all of my heart. I have been so blessed with friends and
family who have supported me in these first couple of weeks. I got my first promotion within my first three weeks! I have also been number 7 out of 526 ladies for top sales in my team for two
weeks now! I have had two girls interested in becoming presenters. I am just seeing blessing after blessing come
out of this! I am so thankful for this
opportunity and feel so honored that God is blessing my work.
Since moving back home and starting school at Regent, I
have been a little lonely. Almost all of
my high school friends have been away at college and the rest of my friends
live nearly an hour away because my family moved. I have been so focused on work and school
that I haven’t really had time for myself.
I knew I needed something for myself. A hobby or something I could be invested in and truly enjoy. I believe that God has given me
this opportunity with Younique to do exactly
that. I have an incredible team of women
that I work with that are so encouraging.
Younique’s mission is to uplift, empower, and validate women. I have felt so confident and like
I have a real purpose since
becoming a presenter. I have this
opportunity to share this amazing makeup with other
women and help them feel beautiful and be all that God created them to be. I am meeting new
people daily and feeling like I can really help women. It is such an incredible feeling.
I believe God has big plans for me in this
business. I will continue seeking Him
first in my work and following His will for my life. I believe this could change my life. There are so many things that could be
possible by making this extra money. I
am committed to this company and planning to work for Younique for a long time.
What I have learned over these past couple of weeks is the
Lord blesses those who obey Him. And when you trust in Him and
rely on Him, He will bless you. God loves to see His children working hard at
the opportunities He has given them. If
you feel like God is calling you to do something, do it! Trust in His plan!
He has a great plan for your life!
I am so thankful to all those that have supported me in my
business so far! It means so much to me!
